Used as toppings, they readily enhance the flavor profiles of simple rice dishes and soups. It\u2019s great for serious salads as well.<\/p>\n<p>Both our garlic and chili are sourced from small family farms in the Philippines\u2019 fertile Cavite region&#8211;traditionally known for family-run vegetable farms that supply the needs of the major markets, hotels and restaurants in Luzon, the largest island in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Infusing the right amount of subtle heat and flavor to our Mildy Spicy Garlic Crunch and fiery hotness to our Spicy Garlic Crunch is \u201cSiling Labuyo. Packing heat levels close to cayenne pepper and habanero chili, this \u201cwild chili\u201d of the tropical islands is 10 to 40 times hotter than Latin America\u2019s Jalapeno chili.\u00a0 Marked as an endangered heritage food by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.slowfoodusa.org\/ark-of-taste\"><strong>Slow Food Ark of Taste<\/strong><\/a>, Siling Labuyo is becoming harder to source.
